Gabe Martinez, CEP, MCEP, CEPA

Gabe has over 30 years of business experience, in areas of Wealth Management, Portfolio Management, Executive Management, Management Consulting, and Project Management, and offers his clients, comprehensive and customizable wealth management strategies. In June, 2012, he founded West Madison Wealth Management, an independent firm to serve a small group of very selective clients. The company's broker dealer is LPL Financial which was formed in 1989 through the merger of two small brokerage firms, Linsco and Private Ledger. Gabe came from Wells Fargo, Private Client Group, where he was a Financial Advisor and Fundamental Choice Portfolio Manager; his Investment Advisory path started at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Gabe led several business development initiatives in the area of prepaid financial transaction processing as VP of Banking Products and later as the President of Value Card Services, LLC, division of VoiceCue Technologies, Inc. Before VoceCue, he was the President and founder of MMP Consulting Group, Inc., a company that for 9 years, offered Project Management and Management Consulting services, with emphasis to IT and Technical Services, to fortune 500 companies.

After college Gabe worked in the IT Industry as a consultant, one of his clients, Discover Card, offered him a permanent position as project manager, which lead to more responsibilities as a Systems Manager. Later, he was part of the 8 people technical team selected to help with an initiative to create the platform to enable Sears issue and process Visa and MasterCard, under the name of "Prime Option Services."

Gabe received his BA in Computer Science and Business Administration from DePaul University in Chicago. He lives in Lake Forest, he is active in several civic organizations; although, his passion lies with Econ Illinois, a non-for profit founded in 1951, to help K-12 students with financial literacy.

He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 security registrations with LPL Financial for the states of AR, AZ, CA, DE, FL, IL, IN, LA, MI, MN, NV, NY, PA, TX, WI.
